Project Title: An Implantable Biosensor for the Personalized Management of Epilepsy
Project Abstract:
My project will incorporate engineering principles into biological methods for the development of a novel therapy for the personalized management of epilepsy. I propose to pursue a Ph.D. program at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Imperial College. As part of a multidisciplinary team, I will build a device that senses brain activity to predict the onset of epileptic seizures.
